Football Legend Joe Namath at TBHC Founder’s Ball
BROOKLYN, NY –One of the most recognized and celebrated football stars in the NFL will honor those equally celebrated in medicine and education at the 19th Annual Brooklyn Hospital Founder’s Ball, Wednesday, September 27 at the New York Marriott, Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation’s Founders Ball is one of Brooklyn’s largest fundraising events and since 1998, has raised money to fund critical clinical advancements. The last four Founders Balls have each netted more than $1 million. This year’s honorees include: Patrick Adams, Esq. and Charles F. Modica, JD; Dr. Anders Cohen and Dr. Sai Veeramachaneni. The evening will be enhanced by many special guests including the one and only Joe Namath. The theme of the evening “Brooklyn Hospital Center — Right in your Neighborhood” will emphasize the convenience and centralized location of TBHC and will highlight the diversity of the many neighborhoods that surround them through décor and the evening’s cocktail reception menu. Diverse entertainment will be on hand and there will be a video presentation of the honorees and their many contributions to the region and beyond. The evening schedule is as follows. - 6:00 - 7:30 pm: VIP Cocktails/Press Party with Joe Namath
- 6:30 - 7:30 pm: Reception Cocktails
- 7:30 – 9:00 pm: Awards Program and Dinner
- 9:00 – 11:00 pm: Dessert Buffet and Dancing
