What:      An interactive patient forum about preventing, treating and managing blood clots and clotting disorders.  Presentations by New York area healthcare professionals who are experts in the field. 

Who:         Patients, their family members and friends, as well as anyone interested in learning more about blood clots and clotting disorders are encouraged to attend.

Why:         Are you at risk for blood clots?  Learn more. In the United States, one person each minute is diagnosed with a blood clot in the deep veins (Deep Vein Thrombosis /DVT). In the state of New York, blood clots kill more than 6300 people annually.  This Stop The Clot® Forum will offer insights into everything you ever wanted to know about blood clots and clotting disorders.  Experts in the field and a patient panel will give advice and practical tips to help you take charge of your health.
