The Brooklyn Hospital Center has an active and widely recognized Infectious Diseases service. Our attending physicians provide consultative services for inpatients with a variety of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS and unexplained fevers.
Ongoing outpatient care for patients with HIV/AIDS is provided by The Brooklyn Hospital Center's PATH Center, also known as the Program for AIDS Treatment & Health. PATH is located at the hospital center's downtown campus, and on 2222 Church Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
The PATH Center is a New York State Designated AIDS Center and is recognized as a Center of Excellence by the New York State AIDS Institute.
Patients with infectious diseases may also be seen in the private offices of our attending physicians.
