Mission - Vision - Goals
The mission statement for The Brooklyn Hospital Center Journal of Health Sciences is to provide an online forum for the dissemination of scientific literature focused on health sciences that is broad in scope and diverse in opinion. It is especially open to students, residents and young attendings in practice that have a strong interest in resident education.
We intend to solicit manuscripts from many sources both nationally and internationally with the intent to publish articles that will be peer reviewed by members of our Editorial Committee.
The scope of our journal is wide and will cover many disciplines which we feel our readership will find most interesting and informative. The Journal will focus less on bench research but more on clinical studies, review articles, interesting case reports and current medical therapeutics. All beginnings are difficult but we feel this journal can and will become a valuable addition to the current literature.
