In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, The Brooklyn Hospital Center remains open and fully operational with no loss of power, just as we did throughout the storm. We have worked closely with first responders, other providers and local and state authorities throughout the hurricane to deliver the finest healthcare to the people of Brooklyn without interruption. Despite unusual circumstances, it’s business as usual here.
Our staff and physicians have been remarkable in their response, and we thank them for their dedication and compassionate support. During the coming weeks and months of recovery from the unprecedented devastation wrought by Sandy, our hospital and our people will always be here for you with outstanding medical services, keeping you and your family healthy and safe.
The worst has a way of bringing out the best in people, and one thing no hurricane can destroy is the eagerness of our friends and neighbors to help each other out in their time of greatest need.
