Stay Safe in the Heat!

We're having a heat wave, and heat waves can be dangerous.  During the heat wave of 2006, more than 40 people died of heat stroke in New York City. In fact, almost 150 deaths occurred at that time from various heat-related causes.

Young children and older adults are most vulnerable.
