Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapy provides thorough, compassionate care to a wide range of patients, from premature babies to elderly adults, utilizing state-of-the art respiratory care equipment.

All of our staff members are New York State-licensed respiratory therapists who provide care-based protocol that is medical board approved and linked to best practices.

Ambulatory Services

Pulmonary Function Laboratory – Mainly for outpatients, the Pulmonary Function Lab utilizes the most up-to-date equipment available to perform lung function diagnostic tests [1] on pediatric patients and adults.

Bronchoscopy – Available on an in-patient and out-patient basis, bronchoscopy [2] at TBHC is performed by trained lung specialists (bronchologists) utilizing highly flexible, camera-embedded fiberoptic scopes. With this device the bronchologist can view the anatomy of the lungs and obtain lung tissue and mucous samples for diagnostic purposes.
