Once again, thanks to Cookie’s Department Store, babies delivered at The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) are going home swaddled in gifted blankets.
“Cookie’s remains our neighbor and friend with both the store and the hospital dedicated to the health and well-being of Brooklyn families,” says Gary G. Terrinoni, President and CEO of TBHC. “Cookie’s has been a legendary one-stop shopping destination for more than 40 years and we are grateful for their generosity.”
Cookie Falack, President of Cookie’s, says, “Since opening more than 40 years ago, Cookie’s has delivered top value to the kids and families who make our city so great. TBHC shares the same commitment to the health of these families, which is why we couldn’t be happier about this partnership.”
The first Cookie’s store opened in Jamaica, Queens to sell holiday toys. Since its beginnings, the venerable New York retail institution has grown into one of the largest national retail outlets for children’s clothing and accessories. The Fulton Mall store is located at 510 Fulton Street, just blocks away from the TBHC’s Downtown Brooklyn campus. Interested customers can also shop online at www.CookiesKids.com.
TBHC has a long history of delivering top, quality prenatal and birthing care, including sophisticated prenatal testing and imaging and the latest technology in the childbirth center, which has 10 labor and delivery suites. Each year, TBHC’s experienced obstetricians deliver more than 2,500 babies.
