    Musicians On Call Launches Expansion Into The Brooklyn Hospital Center

    Musicians On Call (MOC), a groundbreaking nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in hospitals across the country, recently launched their expansion into The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) with the help of multi-Platinum selling recording artist Gavin DeGraw. A longtime MOC supporter, DeGraw performed for patients, families, and caregivers in the hospital’s pediatric unit.

    Brooklyn has some of the highest incidence and mortality rates in the New York State when it comes to colorectal cancer.Early colon cancer screening, detection and treatment can save lives. Yet, statistics show that colorectal cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer death in New York State. Each year, more than 9,000 New Yorkers develop colorectal cancer and more than 3,000 die as a result.
