Bob & Cynthia Knakal to Co-Chair the Annual Celebration that focuses on modernizing and reimagining community healthcare on Wednesday, October 16, 6pm at NY Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams St. The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation’s Founders Ball, which typically attracts more than 700 guests and raises over $1 million in net proceeds annually, funds clinical advancements in the region’s oldest and most celebrated voluntary hospital.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center Meets Full FDA Requirements for Mammography
TBHC achieves the American College of Radiology gold seal. The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC), a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, has recently earned full accreditation of its mammography facility from the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). TBHC has met all the requirements under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) of 1992, including all voluntary programs and modules in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and breast MRI.
