Highest Quality Rating To Brooklyn Hospital For Its Dialysis Service Center
Brooklyn, NY — The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) was recently awarded the highest ranking of five stars from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) for its Rockwell Dialysis Center. It was one of only 13 facilities in the New York region to receive the distinction of a five star rating. Over 5,500 dialysis treatment facilities were rated under the CMS system, with 147 hospitals ranked from the New York City, Long Island and Westchester County areas.

TO ENCOURAGE BREASTFEEDING FOR BROOKLYN BABIES, BP ADAMS ANNOUNCES MOTHER’S DAY PARTNERSHIP WITH HOSPITALS TO PROVIDE RESOURCE CARDS FOR NEW PARENTS
BROOKLYN, NY - May 6, 2016, Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams joined maternal health care providers, breastfeeding advocates, and mothers with their newborns to announce a partnership with Brooklyn hospitals for his baby cards initiative, which will offer a note of greetings to new mothers, information on breastfeeding, and other resources for parents. The cards, which expand on his Family Friendly Brooklyn Initiative, also invite parents to visit the lactation lounge at Brooklyn Borough Hall, a comfortable, private room open to the public for breastfeeding and pumping milk. Borough President Adams spoke about the substantial benefits of breastfeeding as well as honoring the many contributions of our mothers on Mother’s Day.
