Dr. Angela D. Kerr obtained her medical degree from State University of New York Downstate. She completed an internship and residency training at Kings County Hospital – SUNY, where she later became Chief Resident. Dr. Kerr joined The Brooklyn Hospital Center in 1988. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Kerr’s clinical areas of interest include: colposcopy and neoplasms.
She has held several academic titles including Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University School of Medicine. Currently she is Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weil Medical College of Cornell University.
Dr. Kerr has been the recipient of many honors and awards. She has received the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education, the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology Excellence in Teaching Award, and the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn School of Medicine Alumni Association – Louis M Hellman Master Teacher award. Angela D. Kerr, MD, is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology.
