Dr. Quintero is the interventional gastroenterologist at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Quintero received his medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He completed his internal medicine residency training at the University South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine Tampa, Florida. He subsequently completed his gastroenterology fellowship and an additional year of advanced endoscopy fellowship at Stony Brook University.
Dr. Quintero’s main interests include advanced endoscopic techniques and management of pancreatic and hepatobiliary diseases. His expertise in advanced endoscopy includes; endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endo luminal stenting, endobariatrics and management of Barrett’s esophagus.
He is a member of American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Gastroenterological Association.
