Travel Medicine

Don’t let an unexpected illness ruin your next overseas trip. The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s infectious disease specialists will provide you with an immunization plan tailored to your personal health needs and travel itinerary. All patients are given a full health assessment by a board-certified infectious disease specialist. Your medical history, current health status and travel itinerary will all be reviewed. The Brooklyn Hospital Center is fully authorized and licensed by the Federal Government as an international vaccination site. Our physicians provide all necessary immunizations, up-to-date travel advisories from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and important advice for avoiding communicable diseases.

Most patients are seen within two weeks of making an appointment. Because some immunizations require more than one dose, your travel medicine physician will work with you to help minimize repeat visits.
