Adrina Banks-Martin, New Chair for the Board of Trustees at The Brooklyn Hospital Center
The Brooklyn Hospital Center is proud to announce the appointment of Adrina Banks-Martin as Chair of the Board of Trustees, effective immediately. Ms. Banks-Martin steps into this role following her tenure on both the Board of Trustees and the Community Advisory Board (CAB).

On July 14, The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) hosted the first of what is planned to be an annual Clergy Breakfast, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Rev. A.R. Bernard, Founding Pastor of Christian Cultural Center and NYPD Chaplain. Dr. Bernard spoke about the need for community and the important role houses of worship play in creating and fostering such community, along with those in law enforcement and healthcare.
The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation Declared “We’ve Got You!” at the Recent Founders Ball
On May 18, more than 600 dedicated and caring friends, physicians and business partners came together at the iconic Brooklyn Museum in support of the hospital’s 2026 Founders Ball! This year’s event — themed “We’ve got you!” — celebrated the many ways that The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) provides comprehensive, compassionate care for nearly 300,000 patients annually.
