Healing Fast With Robotic Hernia Surgery

“My experience with hernia surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center was truly outstanding. From the moment I received the initial diagnosis to the follow-up care after surgery, I felt supported and cared for every step of the way,” says Brooklyn photographer Rick Schwab. When Mr. Schwab first learned about his hernias, his urologist suggested surgery, considering his active lifestyle as a photographer. After discussing his options and seeking advice from a friend who knew TBHC well, he decided to go with TBHC’s robot surgery program, because the recovery would be faster and with less chance of complications. “It was there that I met Dr. Luca Milone, who recommended laparoscopic surgery to address my hernias,” says Mr. Schwab.
