About Abraham Jelin, MD: 

Abraham Jelin, M.D. Pediatric Gastroenterologist Dr. Abraham Jelin is the Associate Chairman of Pediatrics and Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He interned in pediatrics at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA, and went on to a residency in pediatrics at Montefiore Hospital. Dr. Jelin then became Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn. He followed his chief residency with a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining the Brooklyn Hospital Center, Dr. Jelin was on staff at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Jelin is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Medical College, Cornell University, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Jelin's clinical areas of interest include: Children with abdominal pain, gastro esophageal reflux, constipation, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disorders, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, Colonoscopy, Percutaneous Liver Biopsy, Endoscopic Foreign Body Removal, Stomach Pains in Children, Childhood Constipation, Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Children, Fatty Liver in Children, Celiac Disease.
