The Department of Family Medicine provides outpatient services at several locations using the family practice model--care for all ages, from infants to adults. Some Family Medicine physicians also provide care for inpatients through the Hospital Medicine program and through our Division of Geriatrics.

• Care for special conditions like diabetes and other chronic diseases

The department is also home to a fully accredited family medicine residency and physicians keep abreast of the latest thinking and techniques through their role as teachers.
