The Hospital Medicine/Hospitalist Program at TBHC is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients to improve coordination of care and enhance patient satisfaction during a hospital stay. Our team includes full-time physicians, all board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and provides 24/7 coverage.

A hospitalist partners with participating primary care physicians (or is appointed to patients who have no primary care physician) to ensure that the patient gets dedicated service and the highest quality care while admitted to TBHC. Hospitalists serve as the point person of a team of physicians and nurses responsible for making sure that a patient’s needs are met with prompt and complete attention, including coordinating ancillary services such as lab and radiology reports.

When a patient in the program is ready to be discharged, a full report detailing the inpatient care is available for PCP review in the chart and via EPIC.
