Free interpreter services are available for all patients who need them, regardless of ability to pay. The following services are provided:
Bilingual staff and telephonic interpreter services.
Video remote interpreting system for sign language interpretation.
Monitoring language service provision throughout the hospital.
Responding to issues concerning language service.

You can also contact our Language Assistance Coordinator directly at (718) 250-8292. The Language Assistance Program office is only open during normal business hours, but interpreters are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
