With expertise in advanced robotic and minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Milone believes that every patient deserves access to the highest level of care along with the latest technology available. Dr. Milone has authored more than 100 publications including peer reviewed articles, book chapters, and several presentations at national and international meetings. He also created an approved U.S. patent for a robotic device that can be used in endoscopic surgery.
Dr. Milone completed his Surgery Residency at the Universita' di Genova in Genova, Italy and at Staten Island University Hospital. Also, he had a Categorical Surgery Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York and Categorical Surgery Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He completed multiple Fellowships starting as a Research Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery at College of Cornell University in New York and at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Then, Dr. Milone had Clinical Fellowships in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery and Robotic Transplant Surgery.
