About Richard E. Pearl, MD

Dr. Pearl attended University Guadalajara in Mexico. He was a surgical resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, and did his residency in general and orthopaedic surgery at Manhattan Veteran Administration Hospital, Bellevue Hospital Medical Center and New York University Medical Center, where he was also chief resident. He completed his traveling fellowship of internal fixation in Switzerland and an adult reconstructive surgery hip and knee fellowship in New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. He was a general surgery intern at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Pearl is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery.
