The Brooklyn Hospital Center has an active and widely recognized Infectious Diseases service. Our attending physicians provide consultative services for inpatients with a variety of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, unexplained fevers and HIV/AIDS.
Ongoing outpatient care for patients with HIV/AIDS is provided by The Brooklyn Hospital Center's PATH Center located at the hospital center's downtown campus, and on 2244 Church Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
The PATH Center is a New York State Designated AIDS Center and is recognized as a Center of Excellence by the New York State AIDS Institute.
Patients with infectious diseases may also be seen in the private offices of our attending physicians, formerly located in the TBHC Maynard building on Willoughby Street. They have now moved a few blocks away to the Physicians Pavilion located at 86 Saint Felix Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, which provides elegant, state-of-the-art doctors’ offices and stunning views.
