Scholarly Activities & Research

Research is encouraged during residency and is facilitated by the assignment of a preceptor/mentor to guide the resident through the clinical areas of interest. A Research Coordinator and part-time Research Director are available to review the statistical and essential structure of each research project. Each resident is required to complete and present a research project in the fourth year during the Chief Resident Research Day. Residents present papers and posters in various conferences and organizations.
